SecureVault uses two different types of passwords. Understanding the difference is important for managing your security.
Account Password
Your account password (or OAuth) lets you log into SecureVault. This can be reset through standard password recovery methods.
Encryption Password
Each memo has its own encryption password that protects the content. This password never leaves your device and cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.
Why Two Passwords?
This separation ensures that even if someone gains access to your account, they still cannot read your encrypted memos without knowing each memo's encryption password.
