Settings Usage Guide

Manage all SecureVault configuration from the Settings page—account info, security, subscriptions, organizations, and more.

Step 1: Access Settings

Click 'Settings' in the user menu (profile icon) or enter /settings. Login is required.

Step 2: Account Information

View and edit email and display name in the Profile tab. Password changes are handled through Supabase authentication.

Step 3: MFA Setup

Enable MFA in the Security tab. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) and enter the 6-digit code to complete registration. Save backup codes in a safe place.

Step 4: Subscription Management

View current plan, payment history, and usage in the Subscription tab. Plan upgrades/downgrades go through the Stripe customer portal. See detailed billing at /settings/billing.

Step 5: Organization Management

Create teams/organizations and invite members in the Organization tab. Organization members can access shared memos. Invitations are sent via email and accepted at /settings/accept-invite.

Step 6: Security Settings

Manage sessions, API keys, and audit logs. If suspicious activity is detected, terminate all sessions and change your password immediately.

Settings Tips

  • -Always enable MFA to strengthen account security.
  • -Regularly check activity logs to detect unauthorized access.
  • -Immediately deactivate unused API keys.
